Length and thick eyelashes add real elegance to the face. No doubt perfect eyelashes are what most people desire. But not all of them are blessed with the picture-perfect lashes!
Due to products like a mascara or medicated eye drops that may dry out the hair or cause the lashes to break mid-shaft, your eyelashes get brittle and fragile.
There are several options to grow your own lashes naturally without needing to resort to eyelash extensions or insane fake lashes. Here are some of the most important natural oils that will perform miracles on your lashes.
1. Coconut Oil
From moisturizing and protecting your skin and hair to having antimicrobial and antifungal properties, too, the many benefits of coconut oil may extend to your eyelashes. Coconut oil can help maintain your eyelashes healthy, resulting in strong lashes that can stand up to makeup and eyelash grooming tools. Apply and rub a small amount of coconut oil to the roots of your lashes until bedtime, this technique is somewhat greasy and that’s why it works well as a bedtime ritual! … Leave the coconut oil overnight on your eyelashes, and rinse in the morning.
2. Castor Oil
Castor oil is a vegetable oil derived from the castor-tree bean. Castor oil is packed with beneficial fatty acids such as oleic, linoleic, stearic, and palmitic ricinoleic acids, such as proteins, minerals, and nutrients. It is thought that the fatty acids which make up castor oil are extremely nourishing to the skin. Castor oil moisturizes your eyelashes and can make them look thicker and heavier.
Hold a clean mascara wand or brush of a clean eyeliner. Dip it into the castor oil and apply it gently to the upper and lower lashline, deeply covering each lash. Leave over overnight. Remove with a makeup wipe or some rose water the following morning.
3. Vaseline
Vaseline is made from 100 percent white triple-purified petrolatum, a rich combination of natural waxes and oils. One of its superpowers is its incredible ability to lock moisture into the skin. This ointment can make your lashes healthier when applied sparingly. The jelly protects the hairs and allows them not to fall off. So whilst getting stronger, eyelashes will appear fuller, longer, and shinier.
Put a tiny amount (a bit goes a long way) of Vaseline onto the tip of a clean cotton swab. Apply the jelly gently to the surface on each of the upper and lower lash lines.
Add a little amount of Vaseline to the lashes until they are finely covered with the clean end of the cotton swab. Blinking as you apply will help to spread the jelly on each lash.
4. Olive Oil
Natural olive oil is rich in nutrients, vitamins, and essential fatty acids which function as emollients, moisturizing and softening the eyelashes. These healthy components are infused into the hair and follicle, adding strength to the eyelashes and encouraging them to develop.
Take a few drops, just olive oil onto a ball of cotton and apply to the lashes. Leave the oil on for 5-10 minutes and rinse with water.
