Your hair is said to be your crowning glory,! Hair thickness, length, and shine have a great deal to do with how you treat your mane, but they also reflect scalp health, which is often ignored and sidelined! But help is at hand, and the best things to do are often the easiest too!
1. Healthy Diet for healthy hair.
Diet plays an important part in maintaining healthy skin and hair. The food people eat affects their hair growth, strength, and volume.
Doctors recommend to include adequate amounts of protein from fish, beans, eggs, and lean meats, as well as lots of fresh fruits, vegetables, and whole grains.
Hence maintaining a nutritious diet is the best way to improve the health and growth of hair.
2. Hydrate yourself for hair care!
While you’re at it, don’t forget to add fluids, particularly water and coconut water to your diet. This keeps the body hydrated. Coconut water contains electrolytes, which help move nutrients into the hair follicle cells.
3. Hair Oil Massage
Grandma’s got it right! Using a warm, Massaging the hair with oil at least twice a week can do wonders for scalp health, improve the quality of the hair, and encourage hair growth.
Nature has blessed us with 100s of hair oil, each of which has its own benefits. Few of my favorite are
Coconut oil:
Coconut oil contains vitamins and fatty acids that can reach the cuticula of your hair. Upon penetration, these vitamins and fatty acids remove sebum build-up from the hair follicles that accelerates hair growth.
Almond Oil:
Omega-3 fatty acids, phospholipids, vitamin E, and magnesium found in Sweet Almond Oil also help to promote hair growth. Sweet Almond Oil smoothes hair cuticles, helps with hair fall control and adds luster to damaged hair.

Peppermint essential Oil
Peppermint essential oil is regarded as an effective treatment for the scalp. This promotes micro-circulation, thus reducing greasiness to improve hair growth. It is also known to increase follicles in the hair.
The oil has an extremely calming odor that soothes the senses, enhances mental clarity, and increases overall levels of energy. So besides being a great oil for hair growth, it’s also perfect for mental health.

4. Egg & Curd Hair Mask
Not only do eggs and curd together strengthen weak hair but curd has properties to prevent hair loss and keep dandruff in the bay as well as being a great conditioner.
Beat 1 egg and mix 3-4 Tbsp curd with 1 Tbsp of lemon juice (cleans the scalp). Now apply the mask gently with a brush on your forehead, and let it last for about an hour. Rinse off the mask with your shampoo.

5. DIY Organic Shampoo
A dirty scalp full of buildup can clog pores and follicles and essentially slow down healthy growth. And frankly, dirty hair is just not sanitary!
How often you wash your hair is totally up to you, depending on your daily routine (maybe you work out daily), how much product you use, and so on.
Instead of chemical based shampoo DIY your own. For that Combine ¼ cup coconut milk, ¼ cup liquid castile soap and 20 drops essential oils (such as peppermint, lavender, rosemary, or orange)in an old shampoo bottle or jar. Keep in the shower for up to a month.
This homemade natural shampoo smells great, works well, and lathers!
6.DIY Hair Conditioner
Take in a bowl one tablespoon of lemon juice and at least four tablespoons of aloe Vera gel, and blend well. Apply it to the shampooed hair and wait 5 minutes. Rinse it off with lukewarm water.
It’s said that aloe Vera promotes hair growth and gives them a shine. It helps restore the hair’s pH balance.
