Step 2: Cleansing

Cleansing before bed will help remove all the pollutants accumulated onto your skin through the day’s work. Wash them away with this beautiful homemade face wash Mix together 1 teaspoon of honey and 2 teaspoons of raw milk. You’ll get a fine lotion that’s applied evenly to the skin. Massage on the skin gently for 2-3 minutes, then rinse off with warm water.

Step3: Scrubbing (Once Weekly)

For all-natural scrub pulse the oats in a blender until they finely ground. Pinch the ground oats into the palm of your hand, then add the water until it forms a paste. Massage softly to face and neck  Place the ground oats to later use in an airtight container.

You should add milk or yogurt as a chemical exfoliant, instead of water, with lactic acid. Or, to brighten properties substitute apple cider vinegar with malic acid.

Step 4: Toning

It is time for an all-natural toner, after removing any dead skin with the exfoliant! Toner will help a fresh look on your face, reduce puffiness, and tighten your pores.

Combine 1/2 cup of rose water and 1/2 cup of aloe vera to make your own all-natural version of toner.

This moisturizing toner is super gentle, making it perfect for sensitive skin. Rosewater and aloe vera both have anti-inflammatory properties, reducing redness and swelling. They also burst with antioxidants to make the skin brighter and fight free radicals that cause premature aging.

Step 5: FaceMask (Once Weekly)

Turmeric milk is a common herbal remedy for a number of health problems. It has antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory effects and acts as a strong antioxidant that decreases acne and photo-aging, improving alopecia and health of the face. The lactic acid found in milk improves the texture and firmness of the skin.

In a spoonful of raw milk, mix half a teaspoon of turmeric powder. Use a ball of cotton to apply it to your face. Let it dry and rinse with water.

Step 6: Face Serum

Pour 1 tbsp jojoba oil & 1/2 tbsp argan oil 2-4 drops lavender essential oil into a glass bottle using a small funnel. Add 2-4 drops of lavender essential oil. Close the bottle, and shake well to combine ingredients. Store in a cool, dark place away from sunlight.

Just a few drops of this magic serum will do the trick when applying on the face. After washing and toning make sure to apply the DIY facial serum. After applying, allow 10-15 minutes for the DIY facial serum to fully absorb.

Face oils consist of two types of oil, a carrier oil and an essential oil. A carrier oil will serve as the foundation, while the essential oil is much more powerful and will have more power to heal and nourish.

The general rule is to use 1-2 droplets of essential oil for every 30ml of carrier oil. You can also mix various carrier oils as long as you keep the carrier in the same ratio to essential oil.

Apricot oil, Jojoba oil, Grapeseed oil, Evening Primrose Oil, Sweet Almond oil, Squalane oil, Argan oil, Hemp oil, Sesame oil, Marula oil and Castor oil can be used as carrier oils while Lavender oil, Rosehip oil, Lemongrass oil, Tea-Tree oil, Jasmine oil, Chamomile oil, Carrot Seed oil are some essential oils.

Step 8: Eye Cream
