I believe a good morning skincare routine is equally important, as a good healthy breakfast. Imagine starting the day with a therapeutic regimen that makes your skin healthier and fresher and makes you look amazing. Is that not the perfect way to get your day started?
Your Daytime Regimen
The morning skincare routine is all about protection from the sun, pollution, and the elements. So It’s high time for you to follow a strict morning skincare regimen and ready your skin to take on the world.
Here’s My ultimate guide to the quick, 100% natural and organic skincare routine of the morning.
STEP 1: Cleanser
In the morning, I start by washing my face with honey: I squirt a small amount of honey (less than a teaspoon) in the palm
If you have dry skin, mix a little milk or cream with honey. Consider adding a bit of lemon juice to the honey for oily skin.
Step 2: Toner
Facial toner deeply cleans skin and helps remove dead skin cells built upon the surface. By helping to make pores clean and close.
I usually use green tea toner to freshen up my face as it is super easy to make. Just place two green tea bags in a water-filled spray bottle, and allow for several hours of steepness. Place the bottle in the fridge, that’s it, your toner is ready to use it when you need it. The mist will not only feel great but the green tea also flushes the skin with necessary antioxidants.
Step 3: Face Serum
Face serums are lightweight moisturizers that penetrate deeper to deliver active ingredients into your skin. You can find tons of supercritical recipe of serum on the internet, mine just has three ingredients.
Combine 1 tablespoon of aloe vera with a tablespoon of jojoba oil and 6 drops of nourishing essential frankincense oil for a healing and hydrating homemade face serum that is perfect for daytime use.
After toner, apply a pea-sized amount of serum, patting it evenly over skin with your finger. Those few concentrated drops are super-efficient.
Step 4: Eye Cream
The skin near eyes is the most delicate skin of your body so using eye cream in the night only is not enough. To reduce puffiness, fine lines, and dryness, and help eradicate dark circles effectively eye cream in the morning is a must, this DIY eye cream has made a big difference for me.
Mix together a small, equal amount of aloe vera gel and vitamin E oil and place it in a container. Vitamin E provides skin firming and strengthening benefits, while the aloe hydrates and plumps bagginess caused by loss of fat under the skin’s top layer.
Step 5: Moisturizing
Moisturizing reduces the chances of skin problems but Finding a proper, all-natural moisturizer that will give you a luxurious and nourishes skin, can definitely be a challenge. Here I am sharing my secret with you. Mix 1/2 cup coconut oil, 1 tsp vitamin E oil and 6 drop lavender essential oil in a bowl. Your moisturizer is ready!
I use this moisturizer in the morning on my face. A tiny little dab goes a very long way.
Step 6: Sunscreen
To protect your skin from sun damage, which includes sunburn, wrinkles and a range of cancers, don’t forget to wear sunscreen during the daylight hours. Sunscreen should be the last step in your daytime skincare routine
Combine 1/4 cup coconut oil (has an SPF of 7), 25 drops walnut extract oil for scent and 1 cup (or less) shea butter, in a medium saucepan. Let the shea butter and oils melt together at medium heat. Let cool for several minutes before stirring in aloe vera gel. Then let it cool completely before adding zinc oxide. Mix well to make sure the zinc oxide is distributed throughout.
Store in a glass jar, and keep in a cool, dry place.
Note: This recipe isn’t waterproof, and it’ll need to be reapplied often.
Conclusion:
