1. Tinted Lip Balms

Tinted lip balms are a personal favorite as they combine the nourishing, moisturizing qualities of a lip balm with fun, beautiful colors, it gives the lips a touch of color, hydrates and moisturizes, and sometimes even has certain skincare benefits, such as sun protection or anti-aging. And the tinted lip balm, like other multi-tasking beauty products, is incredibly versatile. For no-makeup makeup looks, you can wear tinted lip balm alone, under lip gloss for moisturizing glitter, or use it to ensure that your matte lipstick lasts without flaking.

By adding glossy luster, a lip gloss will give your lips a striking and beautiful look to your pout and often add subtle color, but not an extreme, solid lip color effect like the lipstick will make. It is transmitted as a liquid or a soft solid and has less staying power than a lipstick. You’ll need to reapply the gloss on your lips again. It is applied to bare lips or on top of the already applied lip makeup (alone lip liner or lip liner plus combination lipstick). Base lip gloss simply adds colorless shine to the lips.
