With this basic recipe, you can make a steaming cup of energising, antioxidant-rich Matcha Latte at home.

Matcha Latte

 1 tsp matcha tea powder
 1 tsp maple syrup or honey
 3/4 cup hot coconut milk
 1 tablespoon hot water

Sift the matcha powder into a cup to get rid of any lumps.

Pour in 1 tbsp boiling water and stir to a thick paste. Whisk briskly from side to side until the matcha is fully dispersed and there is a foamy layer on top.

Heat the milk until steaming, then if you can, froth until foamy with a whisk or milk frother. Pour into the match for your very own, café style latte.
