Mahi-mahi with sensational lemon garlic butter sauce

Tender and flaky mahi-mahi with sensational lemon garlic butter sauce, try this flavorfully delicious recipe for your dinner.

 1.50 tbsp freshly chopped chives or parsley
 1 tbsp lemon juice
 1 tbsp grated lemon peel
 1 lemon, sliced
 ¼ tsp red pepper flakes, crushed
 2 tbsp cloves garlic, minced
 1 lb asparagus
 ½ tsp Freshly ground black pepper (or as per taste)
 ¼ tsp Kosher salt (or as per taste)
 4 oz mahi-mahi fillets, (each fillet of one ounce)
 2 tbsp extra-virgin olive oil,
 3 tbsp butter, softened to room temp

Melt 1 tablespoon each of butter and extra virgin olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Now place mahi-mahi in the skillet, and add salt and pepper to season. Cook four to five minutes per side, until golden. Transfer mahi-mahi on a plate.

Add the remaining 1 spoonful of oil to skillet. Add the asparagus and cook for 2 to 4 minutes, until tender. Add salt and pepper to season and move to a plate.

Add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter to the skillet and let it melt. Then stir in 1 tablespoon of parsley, lemon slice, grated lemon peel, and juice, cook until fragrant, 1 minute, then stir in garlic and red pepper flakes. Remove the skillet from the flame, then return mahi-mahi and asparagus to skillet and spoon over the sauce.

Garnish with remaining and serve hot with healthy keto bread.
