Enjoy this nutritious mouthwatering Chocolate Chia Seed Pudding. It is a simple and light dessert when you're having a craving for chocolates. It's great for breakfast, a snack, or a dessert!
Add the cacao powder, maple syrup, salt, vanilla extract, whisk to be mixed in a medium-sized bowl.
Then add a small amount of milk at a time and whisk until a paste develops. Then add the remaining milk and whisk until smooth.
Add chia seeds and whisk to mix once again.
For the chia seeds to gel, leave the mixture in the bowl for 20 minutes without stirring. Whisk it up one more time after 20 minutes.
Cover the bowl and put it over night in the refrigerator or at least 3-5 hours (until a pudding-like consistency is achieved). Giving the mixture an extra whisk / swirl can also be beneficial after it has been in the refrigerator for 30-45 minutes.
Serve in glasses of small size dessert. Top with fruit, chocolate shavings or other garnishes you want.
